Defining the nature of blended learning through its depiction in current research

ABSTRACT

Blended learning has been a feature of higher education practice and research for almost two decades. This article takes stock of current blended learning research, contributing to the growing number of meta-analyses of higher education and blended learning research more generally, through a review of ninety-seven articles relating to blended learning in higher education published in fifteen journals between 2012 and mid-2017. The review focused on where and when the articles were published; their provenance, scale, scope; methodological approach; the broad research themes; and definition of blended learning used. The review shows that despite its ubiquity, blended learning’s definition is all-encompassing; its spread is global but research is dominated by key players; it is of technical interest; and its research is small-scale, individually focused, seeking to evidence the benefits of blended learning. The article concludes with recommendations of how higher education research could provide institutions with evidence to ensure their ‘best of blends’.  相似文献

诗性蕴涵着民族丰富的文化内涵，同时跟我们哲思的背景有千丝万缕的联系。文论的逻辑起正是由此展开，不论是“诗化”、世俗文化，还是诗的神性化，都是一种对感性的经验的依赖，这导致特性的泛化和诗化的文论意识的蔓延。我们的文论虽然逐渐观念化、抽象化，也构成了诗性的批评系统。但这种话语一旦定型、成熟之后，文论的意象的丰富性和创造性就会受阻。同时，面对西方的话语的大量的浸入，却有一种“失语”的迷茫。文论的现代话语的建立，必须正视这个现实，并进行了一种深刻的理论反思和学理的梳理。  相似文献   

新文学史研究视镜中的民间缺失——兼论陈思和《中国当代文学史教程》

民间文学是优秀文学遗产中最宝贵的文学之一,我国民间文学研究在古代已发生了自身的“前史”,五四以来文学先驱们也把视角放在民众身上,有强烈的平民意识,但只是从启蒙角度来吸收民间文学的营养,并没有真正从文学史角度把握民间文学。解放以来,在毛泽东的民间文艺指导下开展新民歌运动,从民间寻找文化资源,但其中隐含新文学界的文学想象。80年代在重写文学史浪潮的推动下,陈思和《中国当代文学史教程》从史的角度对民间文学与民间有新的认识,但他竭力从民间文学中挖掘出来的也只是民间文学的“隐形结构”。因而,新文学史研究视镜中存在民间缺失,应呼吁对民间文学“史”的重视。  相似文献   

School English,literature and the knowledge-base question

This article takes up questions about knowledge and the school curriculum with respect to literary studies within subject English. Its intention is to focus on literary studies in English from the context of current waves of curriculum reform, rather than as part of the conversations primarily within the field of English, to raise questions about the knowledge agenda, and the knowledge-base agenda for teaching and teacher education. The selection of texts and form of study of literature within the English curriculum has long been an area of controversy. Without assuming a particular position on knowledge in this area, this article shows that important questions of what knowledge-base teachers are expected to bring to their work are elided both in current regulations and debates, and in research on ‘good teaching’ in this area. If ‘literary studies’ (as a discipline or university major) is itself an unstable and changing field, what kind of knowledge does a good English teacher bring to their work? This paper takes up these questions in the context of the Australian Curriculum and standards for teacher registration, but it also points to the way these issues about knowledge are of broader relevance for researchers and teacher education.  相似文献

贬谪，是中国古代一种很常见的政治现象，贬谪者将其被贬谪的人生感悟和谪居生活中的情感体验，蕴涵在自己的文学创作中，因而称之为贬谪文学，这是一种在内容情感上独具特色的文学体式。但“贬谪”在历史上，又可以称为“左迁”、“贬”、“流”、“谪”等，于是，研究界便出现了各种不同的称谓，或称之“迁谪文学”，或称之“贬谪文学”、或称之“逐臣文学”，其实，它们各自在概念的内涵与外延上，并不一致，应予区分，以便能较准确地指称和描述贬谪文学这种特殊的文学体式。  相似文献
